Noticeboard

If you have a genuine medical emergency please dial our dedicated emergency telephone line on 02838013119 and your call will be answered immediately.    Your patience and kindness is very much appreciated as we may be working with reduced staff levels during these unprecedented times and waiting times will increase.

CORONAVIRUS

If you develop symptoms of cough or fever please do not attend the surgery.

Northern Ireland now has full access to the NHS Helpline, telephone number 111.

For up to date information regarding Coronavirus please click on www.publichealth.hscni.net

To help reduce the potential spread of infection, we are advising ALL patients to phone before coming to the surgery.   When you ring us, the receptionist will ask you some questions to determine your condition.  Some of the questions may include if you have a temperature or cough.  These questions help us to determine the best action to take but also helps protect our staff and other vulnerable patients.

If you have an urgent medical condition please telephone the surgery and a GP will ring you back.

As of 18/03/21 the Practice will operate our main telephone line for appointments and test results only.   Prescription requests made to this number will be declined and redirected to one of the following:

Out of Hours
If you need a doctor urgently after normal working hours please telephone 02838399201.  A receptionist will take your details and the doctor will then phone you back to arrange an appointment.

Home Visits
This is available to patients who are too ill to travel to the surgery.  Please phone the surgery before 11am and give us as much information as possible to the receptionist regarding your problem

Travel Information

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations.  These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.  Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Most travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because travel vaccination is not included in the services provided by the NHS and therefore is a chargeable service.

Travel Health Questionnaire

To help us offer the appropriate advice, please fill out the online form before coming to see the nurse.
